Communication credits cover SMS and email messages sent through RentPilot. Essential tier includes 100 credits/month (typically enough for 1-5 units with light communication). Professional tier has unlimited communication, perfect for portfolios that need frequent tenant updates and automated follow-ups.
Tenant screening is tenant-paid on all tiers. Applicants pay $35 directly for their background and credit report. You never pay for screening costs, and you can run unlimited screenings at no cost to you.

Absolutely! Upgrade or downgrade anytime. When you upgrade, you're charged the prorated difference immediately. When you downgrade, we'll credit your account for the next billing cycle. No penalties for changing tiers.
We'll notify you when you're approaching your limit. You can either upgrade to the next tier (recommended for autopilot features) or pay $3/month per additional unit. No units will be locked or removed.
